Free Character Migration (FCM)
The below FCM is available from August 05 to August 11. All migrations are faction restricted to improve ratios on involved realms, thus your faction is currently the less populated one on the destination realm.

Alliance only:
From: Burning Legion, Grim Batol, Ravencrest and Sylvanas
To: Burning Steppes, Magtheridon and Vek'nilash

Horde only:
From: Al'Akir, Kazzak, Magtheridon and Stormscale
To: Neptulon, Tarren Mill and Trollbane

Please note: FCM is opened based on realm population tracking and analysis, not by request. If you're looking for a specific migration (from realm A to realm B), you are in most cases better off using Paid Character Transfer, or you could end up waiting for a very long time.

A highly populated realm is not full. There is a very unique difference between the two. I am not in a position to go into details about the ins and outs of our procedures, however.

If a new realm is opened, it will likely be the one with the (now updated) "New Players" tag.

Nothing wrong with a bit of guesswork. It's when people assume their guesses are facts it becomes rather futile to even address their posts. ;)

Not at all. We don't aim to mark a realm as Full, as that would mean the realm experiences queues. Queues are of course not wanted. Are you perhaps looking at Normal/PvE realms only? Other realm types normally keep their tag for more than a week now.

Do you mean that having high population make a realm less enjoyable to play on? If so, I'm pretty sure you'll find some disagreement on that in the community.

We're likely not going to divulge specific realm or faction population in these threads, nor enter conversations about possibility or probability of migrations. It only serves to create expectations which are not met (as conditions change) and thus end in frustration and tears.

That doesn't sound like our guidelines, nor like anything we've said. Could you please point us to the statements you're referring to?

And while realms may be highly populated, no English PvE realms are currently flagged as "Full". I suspect you might mean the "High" label, which is not the same.

We will not give you the answer you seek, I'm afraid. If we said yes, then had to pull the plug for any reason, these threads would be very, very explosive. If we said no, but a change occurred requiring us to open a new realm, we'd be in trouble with the re-rollers? You must see this predicament, no?

Now compare the two parts i quoted from both your FAQ's than a ask yourself these questions :

If realms labeled as "FULL" are considered being at their capacity, wouldnt that mean that realms labeled as "HIGH" can be considered as "being close to capacity"

And if this is the case, due to the fact that all PvE realms are currently marked "HIGH" would that not match your requirement for a new realm, as it clearly sais "Blizzard announces the opening of new servers when the current ones are close to capacity"

The crucial part of your quote is this:

If they were dealing in absolutes, then the situation would be different, however, they do not.
