So, instead of making everything faster, why not just remove the dull part, or atleast make it optional. Its not like it would hurt the game, and it would give more people a chance to try out all the different classes, at end game level.
I know that part of playing a rpg is to create your character and level it up, but I, and many with me, have been doing that for well over 4 years now, and I just feel like trying something new for once, without having to put down weeks on getting my char up to 80 (yes, I dont level very fast).
I dunno how many years this game have left, I would say 3 at most before its starting to fade away, and I would really like to atleast have tried all the different classes by then, in end game evironments.
Atleast create some stupid Scroll of Ding, that binds to account. Then we could play the first 20 levels, buy like 60 Scrolls of Ding for say, 100g / piece (or 10 copper), and I would be able to enjoy a whole new class!
PS. Im sure this would attract some old players that have quit, or some that have lost the spirit. So its also a moneymaker - Weeee !!
Anyways, you get my idea.
