Q u o t e:
why are you letting one of the lead devs keep on doing what he does?
Ghostcrawler is at liberty to respond to threads as and when he sees fit. This is far from his job requirement, but something he says he enjoys and provides both us and the players with good feedback and interesting discussion.
Q u o t e:
He is not supposed to pay any attention to these kind of posts
This isn't true. Fishing for a blue response can often result in a thread lock, like this one for example. It doesn't mean the content within the thread is far from use at all times.
Q u o t e:
So why does one of the lead devs daily answer to troll posts? Why is such incompetence even appearing on the forums in the first place instead of having time used to give the more important threads attention?
Troll posts will always appear on the forums. I can speak from my experience here on the EU boards that we trim out trolls very, very regularly. Ghostcrawler has his own free will to respond to posts that he finds suitable. As do we. Your view on what is a valid and invalid thread may differ from his, but that's down to the individual.
Q u o t e:
Making the community feel that if they ever want to make a point they have to break the guidelines in some form. This does not apply to the european playerbase since we are stupid and are not allowed to talk to the selfproclaimed ruler of WoW.
Self proclaimed? Please share with us where this revelation occurred! :)
Technical limitations and time zones create many of the differences you see between the EU and US forums. It's certainly not down to a lack of intelligent discussion on our part, because as has been noted many times before, we're all very capable of creating some very detailed and analytical discussions on these boards here in Europe.
