this morning, my friend woke up. and had this email, from WoW (not a fake) - that his account have been merged to some guy names John's Battle.net account. which means he totally lost his account.
We do know, that we have 2 options. to retrieve his account..
1) to sent Blizzard Entertainment an e-mail.
2) try call Blizzards Support Helpline
- In all haste, we did both. we started out to send them an email. with required infomation etc.
- and we ofc. knew, that the response time is ridiculous.
- so we also tried to call them..- now the problem shows up..
As we call the Danish phone number (80 881 086), it says: "Welcome to blizzard support helpline etc etc..
please press 1 to provide help in english" - as we press 1. it just ignores our pressing. and keeps on talking in different languages. Somehow this annoys us. (mostly him as he'd lost his WoW acc ^^)
I would like to know, if anyone knows what is wrong with their Helpline atm.
Tbh. I prefer an answer, from a Gamemaster. but any answer is good.
We really want to contact Blizzard asap. Cause of the loss of his account.
