Yes.

All three of my 80s are on one faction, and I want to join friends of mine on another realm who play the opposite faction. And after leveling more than just 1 character of each class, I'd like to do so without too much effort -- and my time is very limited. So yes I would like to use it to change the faction of one of my 80s.
