It’s essential that players treat each other with respect, which helps promote an enjoyable experience for others. If you are unsure if your actions will violate Blizzard’s code of conduct or terms of service, please refer to:
We encourage our players to cooperate and compete in our games, but crossing the line into abuse is never acceptable. With that being said, we take cheating very seriously.
"You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties." - In-Game Code of Conduct
We’ve already begun banning offending accounts while monitoring the situation. We won’t share details about our cheating investigations or actions, as we have a general policy against doing so. We’ve found that sharing information about the process just helps cheaters improve their tactics and can end up making the problem worse.
