request API Authentication Key

Hello,

I'm working on an WebApplication and i'm pretty sure that it will make more than 3,000 requests per day.

Can i request an "API Authentication Key" without finished the App ?

We will likely not hand out a key if there is nothing to see. We like to be able to view the website in question before granting more requests. We might also ask question about usage patterns and why you made need to make more than 3,000 requests per day.

Somewhat a side-topic, but I had put in an application on July 25th for registration of my site and haven't heard anything back yet. Is this a normal wait time? Was for audit.Drotain.com.


There was a problem with our email for a little while so we're a bit behind on API keys. You can feel free to email us again to make sure we don't miss any requests. We don't mind duplicates in the email box.
