Healing Pets is Getting Old Very Quicky

The pet balltle system is a great addition to the game, but being required to continually fly off to find a stable master or relogging to another toon to repair, is extremely painful and takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

I can not see any logical reason for having a 15 minute cool down on revive pet, other than to make pet battle system annoying. It is like exiting a dungeon on low health and being required to find a repair npc and having 15 Minute CD on your ability to heal or consume food. If you want to fight pets one or two levels higher, like most do, then the majority of times you are healing after every fight.

This is just another thread on the topic of healing pets and I hope it doesnt fall on deaf ears.

We have reduced the cool down to 10m in the next build. Don't forget you can get single use heals in the Sack of Pet Supplies from the Tamer dailies as an alternative to using the Stable Master or your Revive spell.

A few updates:

  • The bandage drop rate from Battle Pet Tamer quests has been increased significantly.
  • The number of bandages dropped has been doubled.
  • The stack limit has been increased to 10.
  • We have reduced the cooldown on Revive Battle Pets to 8m.
    We will be watching the cooldown feedback at this new value but we think that combined with the bandage drop rates, most players will be happy with the results. The increased chance at bandages are a great way to supplement any extra healing you may need while the heal is on cooldown.
