1. Taken the flight point from Dalaran to the Tournament grounds.
2. Seen Sindragosa's Fall positively swarming with whelps under me as I flew.
3. Landed and immediately been flagged (meaning Lost Isles has been stuck with Glineas again, yippee).
4. Gone out to Sindragosa's Fall and not been able to find a single Scourged Whelpling.
Just to make sure there wasn't someone mysteriously showing up and despawning them in the 45 seconds it took me to get back, I returned to Dalaran and took the flight point again. The whelplings were all back. Until, of course, I went to go fight them.
I'm not whining about it; I know why the servers get merged, and that it's going to keep happening. I'm just saying it's frustrating to know something I want is right there, and I can't get to it.
