I would like to add this:-
Having raided consistently from Molten Core at lvl60 to Cataclysm raids at lvl85 I have seen many changes in the play style of most classes.
Warlocks in this expansion have the longest DPS ramp up I have ever seen, including our "burst" spec. As gear levels improve fights run for a shorter duration so our damage done actually drops in comparison to other classes.
Destro with Imp.SF feels like running into a wall each time I have to hard cast the spell.
Affliction has almost no synergy with the talents in its own tree-shadowbolt (talented from destro) which also removes the possibility of mana feed in the spec.
Warlocks reliance on pets for so much of our damage rather than utility-after all they are our "minion" unlike hunter pets.
My statements here refer only to PvE as I have given up on PvP completely.
Would it be possible, as we have seen changes made via hotfix, to make changes to the class with a scalpel rather than a sledge hammer & some feedback on the reasoning behind any changes please?
A suggestion for these ask the devs sessions would be 1 post per account to help stop multiposting by trolls.....
