In case any groups are feeling curious/generous and want to try out new class mechanics in an all-too-familiar raiding environment, Hellfire Citadel is open on all difficulties on the PTR.

Please use this thread for any bug reports or tuning feedback. With a global nerf aura active now, and taking into account changes like the loss of passive stat raid buffs, the goal is for the zone to feel somewhat easier across the board in 7.0.3 than it does in live 6.2.4. Logs are especially appreciated.

During the fight it kept saying "no path available." Tried dropping it many places, particularly where all my dps and tanks were standing. Not sure what was blocking it from being placed. Beyond that everything seemed to be working fine. Will have to test further to see if Efflorescence is going to be a constant problem and how everything else fits together.

Which fight?

Hopefully not too off-topic... While this testing is going on - anyone know if the moose is still dropping at 100% in heroic on the PTR? Never was any confirmation that I could find if it was going away in the pre-patch (like the SoO wolf) or going away at Legion launch. Important for guild planning. Thanks in advance.

The Remnant of Chaos that awards the Grove Warden should be available until Legion launches on August 30 (along with the guaranteed Mythic mounts becoming rare drops). We'll have a blog in the very near future with details about what's changing when.

Thanks for all the feedback here - it's been incredibly helpful. Aside from the obvious health/damage debuff, in the past week we've made a number of more targeted changes: boss melee damage has been reduced across the board; Enrage-dispellable effects like Gurtogg's were nerfed since they aren't removable anymore; the health of Doomfire Spirits and Xhul'horac's imps have been reduced beyond the standard debuff amount; and the splash damage caused by Mannoroth's Imp-losion was significantly reduced (many strats relied on Gorefiend's Grasp, which isn't as widely available in 7.0, so it should be more viable to just clump tightly at the appropriate times now).

We'll be keeping a close eye on how things play out on live for the first couple of days. There will inevitably be an adjustment period as raiders get used to new abilities, and guilds may run into slightly different timings as their effective DPS (whether higher or lower) isn't exactly the same as it was in 6.2.4. But once the dust has settled, our goal remains an endpoint where the overall experience is a bit easier than it was before, without becoming totally trivial. We'll make additional targeted tweaks as needed.
