Play With the Blues: Thursday Aug 21[Updated]

It’s time to play with Blues on the Beta realms! Help us put the Premade Groups feature through its paces by creating and joining lots of Dungeon and 3v3 Arena groups. During the playtest, you’ll have a chance to encounter members of the Warcraft Development Team like Watcher, Celestalon, and Holinka, in addition to QA, CS, and CM team members as we join you for a Dungeon run or Arena match.

What: Create Premade Groups, run Dungeons, and 3v3 Arena groups with Blizzard employees!
When: Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM PDT.
Where: Beta Leveling Realms 01, 02 and Level 100 PvP
How you’ll know they’re a Blue: Blizzard employees will be in a guild called <Blizzard Alliance> or <Blizzard Horde> respectively for the duration of the event.

How to create a Premade Group:

For Dungeons, access the Group Finder pane (bound to I key by default.)

Select Premade Groups --> Dungeons --> Find a Group or Start a GroupOr

For Arenas, access the Player vs. Player pane (bound to H key by default.)

Select Premade Groups --> Arenas --> Find a Group or Start a Group (3v3)

Hey guys and gals, I’ve received word that the Level 100 PvE Beta realm will be offline for maintenance during the event tomorrow.

Players interested in PvE testing (dungeon testing) should create or copy characters to any of the Beta Leveling Realms. Players will be fine for dungeon testing as their item and character levels will automatically be scaled up. What matters is having the right stats for your class.

Players interested in PvP testing (3v3 Arenas) are unaffected and can continue to create characters on the Level 100 PvP Beta realm.
Premade groups supports cross-realm grouping and players on all Beta realms will be able to group with each other during the playtest event. The important thing is to show up on time!

Wooo! So, are the dungeons forming across all realms, or will we only be eligible if we run dungeons with a premade on the premade server?

Premade Groups support cross-realm grouping for Dungeons and 3v3 Arenas. So all players on both the Level 100 PvE or Level 100 PvP Beta realms should be able to group with each other.

No hard feelings during the PvP event correct? Like, if we kill the devs too fast our class won't get nerfed right? :P

Contrary to popular belief, our developers don't play favorites when it comes to balance. If there is any buffing/nerfing to be had, it'll be in an objective manner within the context of having all other classes taken into consideration.

Our server team is working on the stability issues as I type this. Hopefully they'll be resolved soon.

It's worth noting, for players planning on testing dungeons today as a healer, dig through your bags or the gear vendor, as appropriate, to find some jewelry with Spirit on it if possible. You'll have a better and more representative experience with some regen gear.
