A Brave New World

With patch 4.0.3 now live, the stage has been set for the coming cataclysm. The return of Deathwing is imminent, and soon Azeroth will be changed forever.

 

Many of you have been anticipating this moment. You’ve posted, blogged, podcasted, and even tweeted about it. But, after the world is torn asunder by the wrath of the corrupted Dragon Aspect, what will you do first?

Yo Lylirra, You forgot to add a "to" to "I'm not going let...." poll option.

Just one thing, the option 3 can be done at the same time as options 1 and 2.

There's definitely some overlap. If you really think about it, though, what's your primary motivation?

For example:

• If the first thing you want to do is create a character using one of the new race/class combinations, then you'd select option 1.



• If the first you want to do is set out into the world solely to take in the view, then you'd select option 2.



• Or, if the first thing you want to do is delve right into those new quests lines (even if you're exploring at the same time), then you'd select option 3.

While it's true that you can tackle multiple aspects of gameplay at once, it can be fun to sometimes break down that internal checklist and see how you would prioritize everything -- which is really what this poll is about. That, and cool literary references. (And possibly cookies.) :P

Keep in mind that the level cap won't actually increase from 80 to 85 until the release of Cataclysm on December 7th. (The creation of goblin and worgen characters will also be similarly restricted.)

So, I suppose the question is: how will you spend your days in Azeroth until then, once the world is forged anew? :)
