Unlocking the Nighborne

I`m looking for a little help please guys …

The next in game challenge that i have set for myself is to unlock the Nightborne Allied Race.

I already have exalted with The Nightfallen on my Alliance Priest. If i complete Insurrection on my Horde Warlock will the two achievments combine and unlock the race?

Since the Nightfallen reputation is also tracked through its achievement you can in fact obtain both on different characters
