Can’t Queue for Any Game Mode Since Season 17 (PS5)

Hello,

I’ve been unable to queue for any game mode in Overwatch 2 since the start of Season 17.

When I try to join a match, it keeps searching forever and never connects. It doesn’t show any error — it just stays in the queue screen endlessly.

I’ve already tried every possible fix, including:

  • Restarting the game and console

  • Reinstalling Overwatch 2

  • Resetting my password

  • Testing on a different internet connection

  • Joining lobbies with friends (same issue happens)

  • Disabling QoS and UPnP settings

None of these worked, and the issue still happens every single time I try to play.

It’s been going on for months now, and it feels like it’s linked to my account.

Please investigate this issue — I really just want to play the game again.

Hello sw1ft3,

I’m sorry this is happening to you. Could you please open Overwatch on your PS5, go to the Options menu, Gameplay Tab and look for “Cross-Platform Play”? If that’s disabled, it may take longer to find a match.
