120 Lootboxes disappear after Season change - content gone

Since starting season 15 I have been amassing Lootboxes and havent opened until Season 16 released. As I knew, they would be opened automatically in Season 16 and hence did not bother to open them.
When I launched Overwatch after the S16 update I had a screen “120 Lootboxes opened!”.
Only to find my Lootbox history was empty and I had no new skins or similar. They just got deleted and not opened. I tried relogging - no avail. This is super frustrating and I hope Devs can fix this and maybe (?) refund my my 120 lost lootboxes.
I have been in Contact with Customer Support and they said there’s nothing they can do, this is a code issue and needs to be addressed by the Devs (understandable). Please fix this.
I have proof of everything but doubt i can upload photos to here …

Hello!

I looked at your case- someone from CS should be reaching out with more details. I do see that your boxes were opened though, and that you should have received the items. It seems that maybe the History tab is bugged, though, so we will look a bit more into that.

Some skins it looks like you received, for ex: Legendary Lifeweaver “Regent”, Legendary Lifeweaver “Cleric”, Legendary “Tracer” Jingle, etc.
