why is dealing with support like pulling ones own teeth?
everytime i send in a question, its like the gm’s dont even know how to read. and if you have an actual problem, all they do is give you the run around (you know, after you updated the question 5 times), never even once cheking on the statis of the problem. to top it all off, they dont even have a way (or so they say) of actually contacting anyone from the development team. if you look at the forums, its only the moderators that get back to you, meaning that either the developers blatenly dont care, or they dont give any of the developers the proper tools to actually get in touch with their clientell.
its gotten to the point that i have begun to question if i even want to play the game anymore and i am tempted to ask for my money back. Amazing how they can’t read that you either want a refund or are thinking about it, kinda funny isnt it? shows you how well they can read especialy when they want you to treat them with the utmost respect…. even when they clearly cannot return the favor…
as you can see this is all a problem with their website since that is the only way you can get their so called “customer service”, if it can even be called that. the lastest bug that i have been fighting with is the in-ability to enter instances with parties. it doesnt happen all the time, and ive sent in NUMEROUS bug reports. sure one can imagine jumping from pt to pt just to find one that works. that alone takes up most of my time and makes me just want to rage quit from the whole game since the only thing i can do is lvl and farm (oh…. just sooooo boring especially with 5 lvl 80’s). the worst part is, it has happened quite a few times on near the end of the 3rd fratal in fotm after i opened it and d/ced, it simply wont let me back in. sure most playes can immagine how much a pain it can be, either 4 man it and have 1 person afk most of the time, just waiting for the others to finish, or leave the pt and ruin it for everyone else since they were about to be on the maw.
most of the time, nothing works, not even re-loging. meaning that i am royaly screwed. if its a normal dungeon run, the rest of the pt is fine cuz they can just find a fith, but as ive stated before, it really screws over other players in fotm.
it started right around scarlets playhouse update for that living story (when they added the playhouse), and anet has fixed only part of the problem, so that it doesnt happen as often but its still a few times a day when i actually do play now (2-3 times in about 6 hours).
right now as it seams, anet and/or ncsoft missed their calling, they should have been bug creators. it reminds me of “tomorrow never dies” when Carter asks if their new OS is ready, and when they tell him it is, he tells them to fill it full of bugs then release it.
