Hi Drargoz,

I have reviewed your Game Advisor report and it appears you are missing a very critical update for Windows 7. The latest revision of drivers from AMD.com now require Microsoft Service Pack 1 to be installed on your computer and it appears your PC does not have this installed. You can review those new requirements here: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalystSoftwareSuiteVersion123ReleaseNotes.aspx

Specifically: (From AMD.com)

Notes.

When installing the AMD Catalyst driver for Windows operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of the AMD Catalyst driver.
The Catalyst driver requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed.

In order to install this update, please visit windowsupdate.com and select all updates labeled “Important” or “Critical.” While not required, you may also want to review any updates under the label “Hardware.” Once installed, you may also need to reinstall your AMD drivers as they were installed without this update being present.

Hi DarkusVampyrus – What sort of connection method are you using to connect to the Internet? Generally players will receive this error message if they’re trying to connect through an unsupported connection method such as through a Hotspot, USB, Satellite, or tethering to a mobile device. The minimum requirements state that players will need a Broadband Internet connection in order to play Guild Wars 2.

If you have a Broadband Internet connection and are not using any of the unsupported connection methods then I’d like to collect a Game Advisor report from you. There should be a link to download the application to create the diagnostic report in one of the above posts in this thread.

Hi Deadhio – Can you explain your issue a little more in detail? The Original Poster’s thread was in regards to a performance based issue but your concern sounds more connection based. Are you getting any particular error messages at all? What exactly is happening?

@uljinkaluz – Unfortunately this is an unsupported method for connecting to Guild Wars 2. While some players may have gotten this to work, it really isn’t an ideal connection method for gaming.
