Ok so I wanted to recover my GW2 login. I hadn’t played in forever.
I could not remember the password so the first step was resetting that. That went pretty smoothly, but I had an Authenticator attached; and of course to remove it I have to enter 2 codes from something I no longer had.
I also have no clue where my serial code is. I think I purchased it online and that email is long gone.
So I open a ticket. They ask me a bunch of questions to ensure it is me before removing it. I have yet to hear back from them.
However I patched and tried logging in to see what happens. Yup I am now in game, so much so that now I can answer some of the questions I was not 100% sure on lol.
Is this a glitch? How long does it take them to remove this thing anyways? Is there a way to get your serial number from ingame?
