When are we getting the change Display Name feature?

Hi Devs,

When are we getting the feature that will allow us to change our Display Name (Name.####)? I know you said it’s going to be after launch(Q&A) but is it coming anytime soon? Even just an approximate ETA will be great.

As with my second account, I wasn’t able to get the character name that matches my display name despite logging in and creating my character the first second GW2 went live on August 24-25. This is confusing a lot of people in my guild as once people like me go offline, the name that they’re familiar with(character name) is nowhere to be found because it is replaced by the display name. Can you please activate this feature already? I’d even pay a fee if that’s what it takes.

We don’t have a timeframe for this feature, and in fact I’m not really sure how it will/would work. Most people have an entirely different display name than their character names, so I think your friends will get used to this with time.
