I was thinking of making a new email address and a diff password for both gw2 and the email. I haven’t gotten hacked yet but it can’t hurt to be safe right?
What should I do to protect my account?

I think that’s a great idea. Our team will be ready to help when you want to change your Account Name (log-in e-mail address). If more people took proactive measures to prevent hacking, the world would be a better place!
