Something that would help is if you could gather a thread for each dungeon (perhaps you’ve all already created one per dungeon?), and list out the major changes that you feel the dungeons would need to make them better, in concise bullet points. That way it’s easier for us to provide them to the development team.
So let’s do this constructively. Please follow a format for posting. At the top of your post, list the dungeon and path that you are discussing in your post. Then, in bullet points, explain changes you think would make dungeons better and give them more replayability. Then, underneath, you can have a paragraph explaining your reasoning. If your post is about dungeons in general, tag it as such. If you would like to discuss multiple things in one post, split your post up in parts for each path. If your post is about fixing a bug, please make it clear.
Keep in mind that ArenaNET has stated they have no current interest in implement hard-mode, but did have discussions about adding challenges and achievements to dungeons, so if you’re going to talk about such things, talk about it in a way that would make sense for ArenaNET’s vision.
Also keep in mind that dungeons are not only ran by veterans but all players. Don’t make suggestions that would be a detriment to the average player’s experience, as it will no doubt not be considered by ArenaNET. Do not use this thread for general discussion of dungeons unless you are responding to someone else in the thread. Most posts should follow the format mentioned.
I’ll try to gather feedback in this post but I’m not promising to keep 100% up to date depending on if this thread ever becomes active.
Finally, keep in note this thread is NOT about Fractals of the Mists. That would make too much discussion in 1 thread and feel free to make your own thread about it.
1) General Dungeon Suggestions
-Gambits (a la Queen’s Gauntlet). Add mild rewards for completing a dungeon with gambits on and adjust rewards to make sure no path is much more rewarding than others in terms of time/effort/reward (with hotfixes as needed). Allows new achievements/challenges for each dungeon and path.
-Add special daily objectives in dungeons with varying difficulty levels
-Replace the old AOE Circles with the new ones
-Rebalance gold rewards for dungeon paths . Some are worth too much, some not enough. Use average times (not veteran speedclear players’ average time) to set guidelines if that information is available
