Unlocked perm thornroot finisher disappeared

I received a permanent thornroot finisher from a rank reward chest yesterday. (I’m not sure if they shouldn’t be dropping from them?) Anyways, I used it and it worked perfectly fine. After around 10 minutes the spvp servers went down while I was in a match. (I didn’t check whether the finisher was still in the finishers tab) Not soon after the new build came out and kicked me out of the game. After the said build I began wondering why my finishing animation was the basic one. When I checked the finishers tab the permanent thornroot finisher had disappeared from it.

Any help with recovering the finisher would be appreciated!

If you got the item from a pvp reward chest, then it was likely a limited version of the finisher. The only way to get the permanent version of that finisher is to buy it from the gem store. You probably used up the number of uses you had before you were kicked out for the new build. It will occupy the same slot in the finishers tab, but you can tell the difference between the limited version and the permanent version because the limited will show the # of uses left, while the permanent version will always show ? (infinity symbol).
