Unable to pick server Tarnished Coast.

I purchased this game this morning and downloaded all the content (took a couple hours), setup an account and finally was able to get started till i got the server select screen. My friends play on this server and they are the only reason i am giving this game a chance to see if i like it or not.
I would like for my account to be open for this server.
If thats not an option then i would like a full refund due to not being able to play on the same server as my friends.

Slots do open every day, and the suggestions about timing are often effective.

Welcome to Guild Wars 2, and I think you’ll find you are soon able to hook up with your friends. Please do note that you all can move to a less-populated server and play together immediately.
