Transfer mistake?

I had my mouse cursor on Jade Query while trying to transfer (I’m very new to the game so I was attempting to transfer to a friends server) However, when I hit accept it brought me to “Henge of Denravi” which is definitely not the one I requested. Help?

I paid for the gems, so it makes it more frustrating.

As suggested above, if you clear your account of all characters, you may transfer for free. Otherwise, I’m afraid you’ll need to wait for the 7-day “cool down” period to expire and then pay for another transfer. Alternately, you could ask your friend to transfer to your world.

Another option is to guest to the Jade Quarry server. You won’t be able to do WvW, or receive guild benefits from Jade Quarry, but at least you’d be able to play with your friend…

That is a very good point. Guesting is very nice. Here are some details for you: https://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9278/kw/guesting

I’m afraid that guesting between EU and Non-EU servers is not possible, as explained here. If you’re a level 80, then I’m sure you have or can gain the wherewithal to make the transfer.

While I know it’s a popular thing to say, “Give us one free transfer” we actually gave virtually unlimited transfers for months after release, even while explaining that transfer eventually would incur a cost. I’m sorry if you missed that opportunity and the remedy is to choose a new world, and if “gem cost” is a factor, to choose one with a lower population.
