Trail to full upgrade problems

Hi,
I am posting this off my friends account.

I played using the free account over the weekend, and then went and bought a hard copy this morning.

When I try and register my serial, I enter the serial, my email address and password (the account I used over the weekend, with the hard copy’s serial).
When I click ‘next’ a page loads telling me that the page has been on idle for too long, and only then do I receive an authentication email.

How do I get past this with out registering on a different email address?

(Could you tell me your 12-digit incident/ticket number so I can close that, since you figured out how to solve the problem?)
