Tpvp Scoreboard Overhaul Needed

I know this has been suggested multiple times, but there has been no official comment and this issue does not even seem to be on ArenaNet’s radar.

In my experience most tpvp matches seem to consist of either your team stomping the other team pretty hard or vice versa. Now the scoreboard at the end of the game offers no indication whatsoever of why you won/lost fights. That makes it very hard to gauge how you are progressing skill wise as a player and as a team.

Suggestions:
- Show us an overall direct damage breakdown per team and per player
- Same as above but for condition damage
- Number of successful stomps/rezzes per player/team

I have no idea if that’s hard to implement or not, but it would help teams and individual players figure out what areas they need to work on. Instead of merely suspecting that player A barely puts out damage, there’s a scoreboard to prove it.

This is definitely on our radar and we’ve talked about it multiple times. This would also useful for spectators to get an overview of match stats per team.

Thanks, Evan! I am very happy to hear that. An overall damage breakdown will help teams figure out what’s working well and what is not.

I know you can’t give us a date, but is there a chance we will see any changes to the scoreboard this year?

Very unlikely, we have many other high priority features to work on. This was more along the lines of: “What would an ideal spectator mode have? We need to do that at some point.”
