Tpvp question: ele's fiery greatsword glitch

Hi, i have a question for dev and community doing team arena.

Yesterday we meet in a tpvp match a party of [coe] guild that were running an ele using the fgs glitch (around 20/25k aoe on 0.5 sec).

When we pointed on this behaviour on map chat at first the ele laughed at us

Then, right after the match ended i had one of ele’s mates pm me and explaining that like 50% of people is using it even on official gw2 tournament.

We have video and combat log screen etc.

So, apologize me if i am noob but my question is:

Is the fgs trick legit like [coe] guys told us or is it an exploitable issue that we should report?

As of “right now” its intended “by-design” but that is not to say that it won’t be fixed in the distant future.

It’s just something we don’t currently have the resources to fix. It’s on our backlog and it is not something we wish to punish players for.
