TP placed multiple orders not wanted

I put a buy order up for the wings from DB. Nothing happened.

I left it a bit, nothing up.
I tried checking the “items I’m buying” page, nothing listed at all.

So I tried again, figuring it had not registered.

Nothing happened again.
Oh well, TP is broken I’ll try later.

then I got mail……I now had 2 items. I only wanted 1.

Anet refuse to give me my gold back. I only ordered a second (which i thought was one) due to YOUR trading post beign unresponsive.

The unused surplus wings are in my bank, please take them and put my gold back in. I got that gold with gem purchases and its a lot of gold for me. I consider this basically fraud and theft on Anets part, and hold Anet and their laggy buggy systems 100% responsible.

Your response that I should check the buy orders page was not helpful. I did that. And yet it was obviously not accurate. Please explain to me how the hell I am supposed to know if an order went through if it does not show on the buy orders page. really I’d love to know.

What you did:
Placed two orders in under 60 seconds. As I told you on your ticket — and I was the one who responded to you, with every courtesy — all online stores, from Amazon to your local slipper store — need a bit of time to process an order. NO store reacts to a “finalize transaction” immediately.

You were impatient, you placed to orders, and you asked us to give you a refund for a transaction you conducted with another player. As I explained, we can’t go onto that player’s account remove the gold. We cannot simply “whip up a batch of gold” to pay you back for your mistake.

You’re unhappy.
I understand that.
But this does not in any way involve “grabbing money,” and we refuse to “grab money” from another player — who traded in all good intent — and we refuse to generate gold to pay you back for your error.
