Hi there,
sometimes I play GW2 using a tethering connection from my mobile phone.
Once connected the game runs fine.
From time to time it loose the connection while I’m in game, but is’s reasonably rare.
Instead, it happens much more frequently to loose the connection during map loading (or better, “map request”, see later for details), whether I’m changing zone (i.e. from Lion’s Arch to Bloodtide Coast) or upon clicking the “Play” button in the character selection screen.
After the error message, the client shuts down and the launcher is restarted, so I have to logon again.
It’s not rare to repeat this procedure several times before I manage to succesfully start playing.
I got 2 different error messages (both occur in any case, 1 at time of course).
The errors are:
Code=42:0:9001:4131:101
Code=7:1000:7006:383:101
(see attachments)
The problem seems to happen on the very first “ping” to the server receiving the request, because the error panels come up at the same time of the map’s loading screen, or, from the character selection screen, even before the map loading screen is shown.
Instead, if the connection is not lost during the first phase, after a few seconds the map completion is shown (waypoints, vistas, POIs, etc…): from that point, the loading goes on fine.
Of course, if I do connect using my house connection (wheter LAN or Home WiFi), I don’t have this problem.
Hope you could solve this.
Best regards
