Ok, so at first i wasn’t going to complain but its now been 3 days in a row of me not being able to complete my daily. First i could not complete the dodge challenge, then i couldnt complete the crafting challenge, now it says to visit a laurel vendor, which does absolutely nothing. You added a system that doesnt work and i am being penalized and held back because of this issue. a response would be appreciated because i know im not the only one i have seen several posts but no one from Anet responding. Are the people who are being affected going to be compensated?

Daily crafting and Daily Veteran is not working for me… I have tried crafting gear that I don’t get experience from on my main and gear on an alt that I get experience off of…
I have killed over 25 Veterans and not one point towards my daily.
Fix your game. Try testing it out before giving it to the mass population. Fail. Hard fail.

wasn’t working for me either as of around 9 or 10ish eastern time killed at least 1 veteran without it updating and crafted numerous items with/without experience gain that didn’t count, although to be fair dodge, gather and event seemed to work fine

It sounds like your system clock is on the wrong day/time zone. The achivements you’re listing as not working today are not today’s achievements. There’s a bug where the achievement display looks at your system time, but the actual achievements are controlled by the server. (So you might SEE tomorrow’s achievements, but the server won’t let you do them yet.)

Yes, those are today’s achievements. I’m not sure why the event veteran wouldn’t count… It had the veteran frame around its portrait, right?

Got same issues here, and I’m pretty sure my clock is working as intended (unlike GW2). Can’t do “Daily Kills” " Daily Laurel Vendor" “Daily healer”.
None of those are part of the dailies for today. Please double-check both your system time and time zone.

If you’re using a Windows PC, click on the clock in the lower right, then click on “Change date and time settings.” Make sure the date, time, and time zone are all correct. I haven’t used a Mac in 5 years, so I’m afraid I can’t help with setting the time on MacOS.

It sounds like your system clock is on the wrong day/time/time zone. There’s a bug where the achievement display looks at your system time, but the actual achievements are controlled by the server. (So you might SEE tomorrow’s achievements, but the server won’t let you do them yet.)

Make sure your computer is set to the correct date/time/time zone. There’s a bug where it will display the list of dailies based on your system time, even though it won’t let you complete dailies from other days.

This may sound silly, but check your year as well. I’ve had this pop up before where the clock appeared correct, but it was set to 2053. Also check your Time Zone. It might display the correct time, but still be throwing the daily display off by several hours.

Crafting and kill variety are not part of today’s dailies. Check your computer clock and make sure the date/time/timezone are all correct. There’s currently a bug where the game is using your computer time to determine which dailies to display, but the correct (server) time is used to actually track them. So if your clock is off, it will display dailies from a different day. Some of them might be the same as the actual dailies, so you can advance them, but you won’t be able to complete the others.

Make sure your computer’s time is set to the correct date/time/time zone. The display of the dailies is using your computer time, even though the actual time is used to determine which dailies are active. It’s a bug.

Daily Events
If your list is different, check your computer time. Note that you might have to restart the game after setting your clock.

Going by the mob of players in the screenshots, it’s possible you didn’t do enough damage to “contribute” towards killing the creature (hence no XP, no achivement credit.) Did you receive loot off the corpse?

Check your time zone, then. It sounds like your clock is about 3 hours off. If it’s set to the wrong time zone, it will LOOK correct but cause weird things like the daily and forum display bugs.

Veteran Slayer is not one of today’s dailies. Please check your computer’s time to make sure the date/time/time zone are all correct. There’s a display bug where it will use your computer time to display the dailies, even if the “correct” time is being used by the server to track them.

Sorry, I think I posted right before or right after the Daily change. Veteran Slayer is currently one of the achievements, but it wasn’t earlier, hence my suggestion about checking the computer clock.

Check your date, time, and time zone. The time might appear ok, but if the time zone is incorrect, it will throw off the display of the dailies. You might also need to restart GW2 to see any changes.
