Suggestion threads being locked

So, I was about to post this in my suggestion thread, but apparently, was around 30 seconds too slow.

I understand the need for collecting suggestions into one, well organized thread. I think thats good in the developers point of view.
However, that thread does not, and should not, allow conversation about the suggestions. Alas, any improvement ideas on the suggestions are lost. Therefore, I feel that when a suggestion does have an individual thread, it should not be locked just for the sake of gathering the suggestions in one place. (Yes, a copy of my suggestion was also posted in the collection thread.)

If you have a well-thought out suggestion, please post it in the stickied thread .

If your suggestion is not well-formulated and if you believe that needs input from the community, then it’s not ready to become a formal suggestion. It’s still in the ideation phase. If that’s the case, then please feel free to discuss it separately in a discussion. However, I’d recommend that you don’t present it formally as a suggestion (in the linked thread) unless it’s ready.

There was a Suggestions sub-forum throughout the Beta Weekend Events. Unfortunately, people were not actually following the directions given in the sticky post we put up, which gave instructions on how to post suggestions in the Suggestions sub-forum. As such, the suggestions posted in Suggestions sub-forum was difficult to parse and a challenge to sift through for our developers (which is who you, ultimately, want reading your suggestions.

We’re working on a more manageable solution than forums, but let’s work with what we have for now.
