Still can't play game

Every time I try to play the game, I get a Downloading 0 of 0kb dialog which minimizes, and then nothing happens. I have turned off AVG Virus Scanner and the Windows Firewall, and the same thing happens. I posted about this over the weekend, and my post was locked with a generic message about “login issues are being looked at.” It’s been so long since I’ve played the game, I can’t remember what came after the patch dialog. Is the login issue related to nothing happening once the game is patched? I have seen several posts about this on other sites, and it sounds like an issue that has popped up for some folks for quite awhile. None of the responses to these posts have helped.

I paid 80 bucks for the CE. I’ve given up on seeing the Halloween content, but I’d like to be able to play the game at some point in the future.

Hi slfdstrx – This generally tends to happen when a system does not meet the minimum requirements. Could you fill me in on your system specs or attach a Game Advisor report to the thread so I can take a look at whether or not this is the case? If you do meet the minimum requirements there may be something else causing this to happen but without any diagnostic info this is just guesswork.
