It has come to my attention that the quantity of negative topic, and negative feedback is increasing lately.

Any of you guys know why?

I think, that if we view ourselves as a group of individual who expect something from a higher up, but after waiting for so long, we still do not get what we expect, then the negativity increases.

I was reading the pvp forum 5 minutes ago and people are going crazy over there.

I think it’s cause we’re all getting over the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl, it could only keep the entire world happy for so long!

But if you took your time to look at the names of the people on these forums (the official one which we are on now), there are players from speed clear guild (even the guild leader of one of them is posting on these forums), you have people from big WvW guild and from PvP guild.

As an example, I am from a french speed clear guild, and we talk on our TS about these topic, and I bring here a lot of their thoughts including mine.

To off-set the silly have fun post, I’ll add:

I think the thing you’re talking about are “constructive” threads and discussions, this discussion in this thread is related to negative threads. I don’t view the fantastic feedback and constructive ideas and suggestions as negative personally, they are how we all improve, the entire CDI process for example exists for entirely that reason.

Negative is giving feedback with nothing constructive to build on. “This game sux i luv mt.dew and doritos more than it hahah lulz” for example doesn’t help us learn or make a better game (though it does make me want doritos and dew.) To me, those are the negative style threads, and they deserve about as serious of a response as people are coming down off the Seahawks epic win.

Finally: Go Hawks! (+constructive posts!)
