To be honest, i’m not totally sure if it’s bugged or not. But I’ve done this story mode part 3 times before with 3 different characters, and was succesful on all of them.
Today i done it for a 4th time on my mesmer. First you clear the docks, then you setup the trebuchets. Once that is done, the quest asks you to clear the courtyard. While doing this, at some point i saw all of the friendly npc’s ded. around me, while more and more risen mobs were spawning. At some point it was like 20 risen vs me. I saw npc’s walk up to the yard, but the npc’s kept it.
Also it simply takes too long to kill one veteran before 10 risen have spawned on you. The leading figures of the orders weren’t even fighting.
I had to give up on it.
