I am on Sorrows Furnace and the few times I got into Lion’s Arch on our server last night, the count for the number of people rescued was in the thousands. It seems to not be resetting to 0 at the start of the event (or at least it wasn’t last night).
The end result is that we don’t get nearly as many rewards (since we are already past the 1,500 threshold). I noticed this twice last night.
I suppose this could be intentional, but that means I would rather play on an overflow to get the rewards for 100, 500, 750, etc…
