I was wondering whether it would be possible to retrieve past chat logs in any way. Because of the maintenance, the friend request that I made was not successful and I do not remember the character’s name unfortunately. Is it possible if I could retrieve it back. I remember the time so if it is possible…

You may want to try with Customer Support. Send them a ticket with all the information you can provide and wait for their answer although do not build your hopes up about it.
