Reinstating Closed Account?

I recently re-bought the game and added a new key to my old account (I refunded the game on this account last time I played). I keep getting an error saying my account is being processed due to a refund request. w0t.

Once an account is refunded, it can never be used again. Your old account is gone. This should have been made clear to you when you asked for a refund.

You will need to contact support and explain what you did and see if they can unlink your new serial from your old account so you can create a new account.

Charge-backs and refund requests are very costly to us. In fact, processing them probably costs more than we ever made on the game when it was initially sold to a customer. For that reason, and because our financial providers (like credit card companies) require it, once an account is involved in a refund of the type you’re describing it is closed. That is explained before the refund is processed, so that someone is well aware that the decision is final.

It’s simply not ok to have a revolving door of buy / play / refund / buy again / play again… and potentially refund again. You’re not renting a game; you’re buying it. And with that, you need to start a new account with your code, for the old one will not be reopened.
