My friend is trying to register an account (have the serial key) but every time he puts in the password it just says it needs to be 8 long and unique which it is. Does anyone know what is going on?

Hmmm… I’m not exactly sure what’s going on. What exactly happens? Nothing? Does he get an error message? Is he trying to use unusual characters? Have him try again with basic characters (uppercase and lowercase) and numbers, and see if that works. And of course, he’s welcome to contact Support for more assistance — we’ll be happy to try to help.
I understand that frustration, too. I am currently fighting with a situation on a different service where whatever I use gets rejected, but because I tried to use it, I can’t use it again. I swear, I’m almost to the point of giving up!
I try to look at it like this: No one’s out to get me, or cause me extra stress. They really are acting in my best interests. BUT… I still dislike the set of hoops I’m having to jump through.
