Readings on the Rise VOED bug

For the past four or so days I’ve been trying to complete the story quest “Readings on the Rise”. I’m on the quest step where I’m to meet Zojja and find the artifact underwater near the Obscure Incline in Metrica Province, but the quest object (the VOED) disappears when I go underwater to use it and my action items are replaced by my usual weapon ones.

Thanks for the reports! Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to reproduce this issue after testing it on our end. Is it still happening? If it is, we’d appreciate any additional information you can provide, such as what profession you were playing (Thief, by chance?),whether you were doing this story solo or in a group, what steps you’re taking before getting stuck, etc.
