PvP rank achievement track oversight?

The description of the achievements say: “Obtain x rank points.”, but they only your personal score counts towards them. The rank points you get due to the new system and the tournament win rewards do not count towards it. This really should be fixed or changed if its not an oversight.
These achievements also progress during the match, so you could still farm them via the Skyhammer method since they do not get added at the end of the game.

Achievements advancing from personal score instead of rank points is a bug. When it is fixed, it will be retroactive unless some horrible code demon prevents it. I wouldn’t stress over getting personal score to advance the achievement right now.

Fixed internally, but won’t ship until its bundled with other things. (Internal process etc etc) It will be retroactive, so don’t worry about getting it sooner than later.

We have multiple teams all working on different things at different times. The fix for is bug lives with the rest of the upcoming PvP features and will be released at the same time. Since this bug fix will be retroactive, we’re not worried about trying to squeeze it into an earlier release.

I understand your frustration. As a player, I also want more features. However as a developer, I would rather have our releases get the testing time they deserve. The more we try and do without pushing back release dates, the lower the quality bar of that release gets. Regardless of it being a small fix, when many teams try and ‘squeeze in’ more fixes, they start to go untested, missing from patch notes, and ultimately cause more harm than good.
