Purchased Wrong Item in Gem Store

I purchased the wrong item in the Gem Store and am curious if I would be able to get a refund through support?

I know theres a gem refund request option, but Im just curious if it would be a waste of my time to try and get the refund?

I purchased the Profane Armor instead of the Primeval Armor.
