problem with gw2setup.exe

i recently reinstalled Windows 7. i did not uninstall anything, before doing so, and i’ve been able to download and install Chrome and Teamspeak, since i reinstalled Windows. when i run gw2setup.exe, via disc and via download, it opens the client, loads the primary bit, then asks if the program can make changes to my computer. however, after i click “yes,” the client opens back up, for a split second, then closes.

i’ve tried almost everything, and i have no idea what to do.

Hey there – since you said you reinstalled Windows, did you also reinstall all of the drivers for your system as well? It’s possible that you may simply be missing video card drivers which would prevent you from installing the client.

If that’s not the case, could you please post your system specs? Specifically the following:

CPU
GPU
RAM
