Problem with authenticator

Hi. A friend of mine who bought guild wars 2 more than a year ago is having problems with the login and authenticator. When he tried to log in game about two or three days ago he could not remember his password, so he get a new password via e-mail, with no problems so far (at least not from the game, he had some issues with the e-mail but nothing relevant). The problem is that when he tried to login with the new password the game client also asked for the mobile authenticator code – but he never activated it. So he tried to access to his account page here on the website but again was asked for the security authenticator code.
Now basically he’d like to come back to play (he logged last time after the april feature patch) but he can’t because of the authenticator he never activated, and plus he can’t disable it because he can’t log in even to the website.

Of course he wrote a support ticket, he got a reply in which the stuff asked for more information on the same day he sent the ticket, but after he replied to that there were no more answeres. So I’m writing for him: what can he do?

I hope I was clear enough, I don’t speak english really often

Your friend’s ticket will be responded to as quickly as possible. Frankly, I am concerned that his account has been compromised, and that probably is why the team is asking him to provide answer to questions, to establish that he owns the account.

I suggest that he continue to discuss the situation with Support, but he may wish to create a new e-mail account, in case the e-mail account is also compromised.
