I’d like to make a simple suggestion. For the forum website private message bit, I think a “delete selected” button with checkboxes would be extremely useful. I get messages on the forums a lot, and my mailbox often has to be emptied every week. I also like to keep messages for a small amount of time, in case they become relevant later (which is why I don’t like to delete them immediately).
Also, as a second suggestion, system messages, such as forum infractions or post merges and the like should not be considered “private messages” and should not be counted in the number of messages in your inbox. Honestly, we should have a separate tab with those messages, and should never have to delete them for space (because a lot of times the information within them is useful, including dates/times infractions happen and that sort of thing).
