Predator rifle sound change or bug?

The shot sound on the legendary Predator rifle has a different sound now. What gives? Is this an audio bug or intended? I miss my old scifi sound already.

Since the look of the Predator had gotten changed from a plasma theme to a fiery theme, the sounds have been updated to follow suit. I hope you enjoy your flame rifle!

Thank you for your feedback, everyone. We appreciate your input and have been following the responses to this thread; based on the overwhelming sentiment that the rifle was preferred as is, we’ll be reverting these changes soon.
