Personal Story: Retribution Bug

Retribution is bugged for me. The risen that appear during this level all seem to be ‘invulnerable’ and don’t take any damage at all. The only group that I noticed so far which actually took damage was the group at the top of the beacon (appears without NPC nearby and includes a champion unit).

The map also doesn’t show the objective markers, and it doesn’t even update the objective on joining the map.

This bug prevents any kind of progress for me.

Did you speak to the NPC at the very start? It looks like you’re running ahead of the story and trying to get into a fight with the NPCs before you’ve advanced the story steps.

I mentioned this in another post, the NPC for the first step is in the ship’s hold, so he’s slightly under your start position. His story star is visible, but tends to get obscured by the ship. Speaking to him will advance the story, and kick off a cutscene on deck.
