Password Reset Not Working

I had a friend that forgot her password, and tried to reset it but said that it wasn’t working for her, so just to verify the problem she was having I tried to reset my password as well.

First, I clicked on the link on the game client “Forgot your Password” which took me to the Account Recovery at https://account.guildwars2.com/recovery. From this page I put in all the required info(email, serial number, and character name). After that I was sent a password reset email. I clicked on the link in the email and it took me right back to the Account Recovery Page where I’m in an endless loop that keeps sending me emails, but not actually giving the option to reset my password.

I tried the password reset link in the email from both IE 11 and Chrome with the same results.

NOTE: I do not want my password reset – I just want to let you know about this problem.

Yes, there was an issue, and we appreciate you letting us know about it.

Password resets should be working just fine now.
