Overlapping digital serial code account?

I have a question , the key i used was a digital cd code on my account. If i purchased a deluxe edition code will it overlap it?

p.s : I bought the deluxe item ingame for 2000 gems , but no serial key was issued.

I’m just worried if i purchase it i can attach it to the account
