Not sure if I changed my password

I have logged in on the website and have attempted to change my password. After doing so I get neither a confirmation of successful change or a reason why password change failed. It just refresh to the same password change page with boxes not filled in.

Neither my old or new password work to log into the game and now im worried about logging out of the website as I do not know what my password is now.

I do not have my serial number at hand to recovery the account which seems silly anyway since I am logged in on the website.
